Bouwbedrijf R. Vlieland, Paardenweide 39, 1689 MB Zwaag. KvK 64428958. Last updated: October 2026.
These terms and conditions apply to every quote, every agreement and every job carried out by Bouwbedrijf R. Vlieland, Paardenweide 39, 1689 MB Zwaag, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 64428958. By accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.
Whatever is stated in the quote or the order confirmation takes precedence over these terms. Other arrangements only apply if we have agreed them with you in writing. If you have questions about these terms, email info@bouwbedrijfvlieland.nl or call +31 6 11 78 63 20.
A quote is without obligation and valid for the period stated in the quote. The quote sets out as clearly as possible which work we will carry out, which materials we will use and what is not included in the price.
The price is based on the information you give us and on what we can see during the survey, such as dimensions, photos, drawings and the condition of the house. If the situation turns out to be different during the work, for example because of hidden defects in the existing structure, we discuss this with you before we go any further.
The agreement is concluded as soon as you accept the quote in writing or by email, or as soon as we start the work with your consent. We confirm the order and the arrangements that go with it.
We manage the entire project through the same project manager. So from discussing your wishes to completion, you have one fixed point of contact. We may bring in skilled tradespeople from our network for parts of the work, while remaining responsible for its execution.
If you want to change or add something during the work, or extra work turns out to be needed that is not in the quote, this is additional work. We only carry out additional work after consulting you and after we have recorded it with you in writing, with the price or the way it will be determined.
If part of the work is dropped by mutual agreement, this is reduced work. We also record this in writing, with the settlement that goes with it.
We carry out the work properly and professionally, in line with the arrangements in the quote and the applicable rules. We agree a schedule with you in advance. Dates given are an estimate, because weather, delivery times of materials or unforeseen circumstances can have an effect. If the schedule runs over, we will let you know as soon as possible.
You make sure we can access the work at the agreed times, and that electricity and water are available where needed. If a permit is required and you arrange it yourself, you make sure it is in place before the work starts. If we handle the drawings and permits for you, this is stated in the quote.
When the work is finished, we go through it together with you. Any points that are not yet right are recorded and we finish them within a reasonable period.
The work is considered completed when we have gone through it together and you have approved it, or when you start using it. Minor points that do not stand in the way of use are no reason to postpone completion.
You pay in line with the arrangements in the quote. If it provides for payment in instalments, we send an invoice for each instalment. You pay each invoice within the term stated on the invoice.
If you do not pay on time, we will first send you a reminder. If payment still does not follow, we may charge the statutory interest and reasonable collection costs, within the limits set by law.
We are liable for damage resulting from a shortcoming in our work, to the extent required by law. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for damage caused by defects in the existing structure that we could not reasonably have seen, or by materials or work you supply or have carried out yourself. This limitation does not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.
If you are not satisfied with our work, please report it as soon as possible after you discover it, preferably by email to info@bouwbedrijfvlieland.nl and ideally with photos. We will get in touch and look for a solution together.
All quotes and agreements are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, it will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands.
