Bouwbedrijf R. Vlieland, Paardenweide 39, 1689 MB Zwaag. KvK 64428958. Last updated: October 2026.

Who we are

Bouwbedrijf R. Vlieland is a building company based in Zwaag, working in new build, remodelling, maintenance, renovation and restoration. We are responsible for processing the personal data you give us through this website. This privacy statement explains which data that is, why we use it, how long we keep it and which rights you have.

Our details: Bouwbedrijf R. Vlieland, owner Richard Vlieland, Paardenweide 39, 1689 MB Zwaag, the Netherlands. Phone and WhatsApp +31 6 11 78 63 20, email info@bouwbedrijfvlieland.nl. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 64428958, VAT NL002126522B57. For questions or requests about your privacy, email info@bouwbedrijfvlieland.nl.

Which data we process

If you request a quote or send us a message through the form, we process the data you enter yourself: your name, email address and phone number, the address of the project, a description of the job, any photos or drawings you attach and the content of your message.

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we process the data you give us in that call or message. We do not ask for more. So please do not enter data we do not need, such as your national identification number or payment details.

What we use your data for

We only use your data to answer your question, make an appointment, send you a quote and, if you give us the job, carry it out: the preparation, any drawings and permits, the construction, completion and invoicing.

The legal basis is the performance of a contract, or taking steps at your request before a contract exists. After a job, we also have a legal obligation for our records. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes. You will not receive newsletters or advertising from us unless you have asked for them.

How long we keep your data

An enquiry that does not lead to a job is kept for a maximum of two years. That way we can find your request if you decide to go ahead later. After that we delete the data.

If you give us a job, we keep the data that belongs to our records, such as the quote, order confirmation and invoice, for seven years. That is the retention period Dutch tax law requires.

Who we share data with

We work with a network of skilled tradespeople, each with their own speciality. If one of them works on your project, they only receive the data needed to carry out the work, such as your name, the address and a phone number. They may not use that data for their own purposes.

The form on this website runs through a form service (Formspree), which forwards your message and any photos to our mailbox. The website itself is hosted by a hosting provider. If your project needs a permit, we share the necessary data with the municipality through the Omgevingsloket, but only if you ask us to handle this.

To complete your address automatically in the form, we use the public PDOK Location Server of the Dutch Land Registry (Kadaster). Only the address text you type is sent to that service. No cookies are placed and no other data is sent. If you contact us through WhatsApp, that message runs through WhatsApp's own service.

Security

The website uses a secure connection (https). Data you send through the form travels across the internet encrypted. Only the people who need your data for your enquiry or job have access to it.

If you think your data is not properly protected, or you see signs of misuse, please contact us straight away at info@bouwbedrijfvlieland.nl or +31 6 11 78 63 20.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can object to the processing, and you can ask to receive your data in a common file format or have it transferred to someone else.

Send your request to info@bouwbedrijfvlieland.nl. We respond within one month. To make sure the request comes from you, we may ask you to identify yourself. Never send a copy of your ID unless we ask for it.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, we would like to hear from you first. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

This website only uses the functional storage needed to make the site work. Statistics and marketing cookies are only placed once you give consent through the cookie banner. Our cookie policy explains which cookies these are and how to change or withdraw your consent.

Changes

We may update this privacy statement, for example if we start using a different service provider or if the law changes. The latest version is always on this page. This version dates from October 2026.
